I'm in Kelowna this week visiting family, and it's scorching hot here. It’s so intense you can’t even be outside for parts of the day. I've been living in my favorite Londre swimsuit, pairing it with a wrap as a skirt for a quick and stylish look!
A perfect travel outfit for hot summer days is an all-white ensemble. This button-up is from Sezane, and the shorts are from Zara—I loved them so much I bought them in three colors! Here I am at Kalamoir Beach, a quiet spot with a floating dock, perfect for a sunny day.
We enrolled Christian in Wetfeet camp where kids can learn to sail. He loved it and we got to catch up with the owner of the infamous pasta shop Okanagan Pasta Company! Her son was in the same sail crew with Christian. Love meeting the people who own my mom’s favourite spots for food around town.
Popped in the Eldorado for a bit and wore this RW button up which is so light weight it was perfect for the hot days. Paired with these similar boxer style shorts from Simon’s which I have been wearing on repeat in Toronto too.
One outfit you will never regret buying and will be wearing forever is a matching linen set. I bought this from Shop Thursday years ago and have gotten so much wear out of since then. It pretty much goes everywhere with me when I travel and I always feel so good in it. You can easily break it up and style it with other pieces too so the versatility is a win win. This is a cute set from Amazon that is super similar to mine.
One of my mom’s favorite spots for a coffee in the morning or an afternoon fresh pizza is Quails gates market. It’s not in the main building, they have a cute little cafe to the side with a nice garden courtyard filled with a few unbrella’d picnic tables. It a great place to take the kids or just enjoy a drink on a hot day.
